As Robin (as in Batman and Robin) once said:

“Everybody is always overwhelmed or underwhelmed… why can’t anybody just be whelmed?”

It has been quite an overwhelming few weeks. I’ve launched my EP, loaded my music onto various online selling platforms through CDBaby, revamped my site, collaborated with Frankie Beagle, and last but not least; I loaded my music onto Jamendo

Jamendo is the worlds top platform for Creative Commons music, and I loaded my debut EP, Homeless, onto Jamendo without thinking much of it. My idea was to promote it at a later stage. Little did I know that the folks at Jamendo cared very little for my strategy. They liked the music so much that they shared it on Facebook! From there it kind of went viral, and my song “All You Know” climbed to the most popular track on the site!

At the time of writing, “All You Know” has been listened to over 67 000 times and downloaded over 17 000! It really is such a great feeling to contribute to the creative commons world and know that people around the world are sharing and enjoying the music!

All this, and I’ve also been very busy with my “real” job, as well as another site that I’m very excited about, and I’m also going into studio tomorrow night to record for my other musical project… I’m feeling a little burned out, but very excited!

Well, that’s about all I have the resources to write about at the moment. Once I’m done being overwhelmed and I’m back to being whelmed, I’m taking this blog to new heights with new ideas. This blog is not just going to be about my music, but about ideas that compliment my music.

Oh yes, welcome to the new site! Please let me know what you think of it by leaving a comment below. I really want to make an experience that allows people to interact with the music and with my ideas, so your feedback would be greatly appreciated!

Until next week, stay whelmed.

Love and Gratitude,
Quietly Concerned
